With International Women’s Day (March 8) just around the corner, Women & Leadership Australia (WLA) is currently offering professional development scholarships for ANMF (SA Branch) members.
Women & Leadership Australia (WLA) supports women at all levels across all sectors and industries. Its career-defining leadership programs bring together a focus on applied learning with the latest in leadership theory and practice.
The theme for International Women’s Day is #EmbraceEquity and WLA believes that advancing gender equity, especially in leadership, is central to creating a more fair and inclusive society.
Scholarships of $1000- $5000 per person are available for ANMF (SA Branch) members.
To encourage more women to increase their impact at work and step into leadership roles across the health care sector, WLA is offering scholarships for four leadership development courses. Apply by 17 March or find out more here: www.wla.edu.au/industry/health
“We have long been fierce advocates for gender equity and supporting women in leadership positions, and this is a great opportunity for our members to get involved in development scholarships based around raising the profile of women in the workforce”, ANMF (SA Branch) CEO/Secretary Adj Associate Professor Elizabeth Dabars AM said.
International Women’s Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women across the world, whilst also calling for action to stamp out inequality in all spheres of society.
