Given some member uncertainty, the ANMF (SA Branch) would like to highlight that our digital Annual Professional Conference can be viewed either live from 9am to 5pm, September 22 and 23, or at your leisure over a six-month period from that time.
Due to the current uncertain situation across the country with COVID-19, we have been compelled under the circumstances to deliver our 2021 Annual Professional Conference as a digital-only event.
We take the safety of our members and community very seriously and as such we felt the only responsible decision was to avoid any mass gatherings.
The cost for members to attend the ‘virtual’ conference is $160.
The theme, ‘A Force for Change', reflects the importance of nurses, midwives, aged care and personal care workers in ensuring that we have a strong and resilient health care system.
Speakers at the conference include broadcaster Dr Norman Swan, International Council of Nurses CEO Howard Catton, nurse comedian Georgie Carroll, President of the Canadian Federation of Nurses Union Linda Silas and former and first Commonwealth Chief Nurse and Midwifery Officer Dr Rosemary Bryant AO.
