Given the current situation across the country with COVID-19, we have determined to deliver our 2021 Annual Professional Conference as a digital-only event.
We take the safety of our members and community seriously and as such we felt the best decision was to avoid any mass gatherings. As such, we have determined to hold our 2021 Annual Professional Conference as a digital only event.
The conference will also be delayed to September due to the current lockdown preventing the necessary planning and preparations required to provide you with a quality experience.
The ‘digital’ conference will be able to be viewed live as it happens or at your leisure over a 12-month period.
What happens next?
If you have already registered, you can choose to:
Switch your ticket to be a digital ticket
The cost for members to attend the ‘virtual’ conference is $160. If you paid the full in-person price, then the difference will be refunded to the card that was used to make payment for the conference.
Switch to a Digital Ticket
Please note: WSR, Elected Delegates and Student Members do not need to do anything. Your ticket will automatically be switched to a digital ticket
Cancel your registration
We understand that a digital conference isn’t for everyone. If that’s the case, then simply let us know and we will cancel your registration and process any applicable refund.

How many CPD points will I receive for the Digital Conference?
A total of 14 CPD points is available for your participation. You will receive CPD points for attending the virtual conference and additional CPD points will be available for viewing supporting materials relating to the sessions. The supporting material can only be accessed with your virtual registration.
Will the program change?
We recognise some elements of the conference program won’t quite be the same online such as the Panel Session - State Leaders Debate. We will be in contact soon with a revamped program that has been designed to make your digital viewing experience the most enjoyable.
When the new program is released, if you don’t like what you see, you can contact us and we will happily arrange for to cancel your attendance and your registration fee to be refunded.
What if I can’t make the new date?
The ‘digital’ conference will be able to be viewed live as it happens or at your leisure over a 12-month period. However, if when we announce the new date is announced you decide you would prefer not to attend, again you can request a full refund.
I am a WSR/Elected Delegate, is the Annual Delegates Conference still going ahead?
At this stage, the Annual Delegates Conference will be held as an online meeting from 9am -10am on Friday 6 August 2021 to consider conference resolutions. In addition, we will reschedule the other items on the ADC program to a later date, this is likely to be in October (COVID restrictions permitting). We will provide further details about these meetings in subsequent correspondence.
