The ANMF (SA Branch)’s in-house law firm Union Legal SA is headed up by Chief Legal Counsel Geraldine Hannon.

Geraldine trained as a nurse at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and as a midwife at Modbury Hospital and commenced practice as a lawyer at Duncan Basheer Hannon (DBH) in 1998. Her expertise is in the areas of personal injury, workers compensation, industrial and employment law, discrimination and Nursing and Midwifery Board disciplinary matters.
Geraldine was a partner at DBH until 2016 when she commenced employment at the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (SA Branch) where she today continues her legal work representing nurses and midwives.
