Research about best-practice maternity care for refugee women

13 February 2020

Researchers from Flinders University and The University of Adelaide are looking to interview midwives who work with women from refugee backgrounds.

The project aims to examine the maternity and post-natal health needs of women from refugee backgrounds from the African Continent. This includes as exploration of the facilitators and barriers in accessing appropriate health care for pregnant and post-natal women from refugee backgrounds and the best practice in specialised maternity services.
