The new public sector Enterprise Bargaining Agreement has officially came into effect last week, affording members protection of existing working rights, job security and wage increases.
New pay rates and back pay
The new pay rates and back pay will be implemented in two stages. Shared Services have confirmed that the new Rates will be applied for Pay Period 1 August 2020 - 14 August 2020 paid on the 21 August 2020.
All current employees will be back paid in the following pay, paid on 4 September 2020.
The back-pay period will be from 4 January 2020 – 31 July 2020 (as new rates were applied from 1 August).
Terminated Employees will receive back payment on 18 September 2020.
Interim pay rates
The formal endorsed Enterprise Agreement is not available for publication yet. In the interim, we have prepared a indicative pay schedule. Please note: whilst this information is provided having been checked for accuracy it is not a substitute for reference to the Award / Agreement.
