Have your say about the future of your superannuation

The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) wants to hear from nurses and midwives on superannuation in a five minute survey.

The survey results will help shape ANMF’s submission to the government’s Retirement Income Review.

Given that there is a disparity in superannuation outcomes for women and that the Australian nursing and midwifery workforce comprise of 89% women, who on average retire with 40% less superannuation than men, this survey is crucial for reform that addresses the gender pay gap, said Assistant Federal Secretary Lori-Anne Sharp.

The survey will ask questions on issues relating to superannuation including barriers to contributing, concerns about having enough superannuation on retirement and what needs to be done to make superannuation work better.

The survey closes on 21 January. Access this short anonymous survey at http://bit.ly/anmf-super-survey
