Today is Bandanna Day, the flagship fundraising and awareness campaign for CanTeen, the organisation supporting young people with cancer.
Since Bandanna Day began 26 years ago it has raised more than $33 million for the cause.
With the public’s support, funds raised from Bandana Day will help young people impacted by cancer get access to counselling and peer support.
CanTeen runs programs, camps and recreation days that give young people some space away from the daily pressures of living with cancer and the opportunity to meet others who understand what they are going through.
