The ANMF (SA Branch) is currently recouping what has been identified as a substantial underpayment for a personal care worker at Port Lincoln’s Matthew Flinders Home.
The underpayment, currently sitting at $6,500, came about as the employer had:
- Failed to accurately apply a penalty rate provision of the enterprise agreement; and
- Paid the member the incorrect classification over a number of years of service.
