As you are aware, after months of negotiation—followed by weeks of industrial action—the ANMF (SA Branch) Council last month determined to suspend further action after renewed enterprise agreement negotiations progressed in a more productive manner.
On 18 November, the ANMF (SA Branch) and your employer reached a position whereby several terms discussed in good faith were to be taken back to the State Government for consideration.
Disappointingly, the State Government has yet to advise its position and, as such, we have today
written to the Minister for Industrial Relations seeking his urgent and positive consideration of these terms.
Should a satisfactory response not be received by Wednesday 11 December, the ANMF (SA Branch) Council may reconsider the suspension of industrial action.
