Bargaining has continued with representatives of SA Health and the State Government with a particular focus on safe staffing claims.
As reported, we have also tabled the wages claims approved following consultation with, and feedback from, members.
We appear to be wide apart in our bargaining positions in almost all significant areas of the claims endorsed by members.
As a consequence, we will meet again next week and have requested that the employer’s representatives give a considered response to all matters that have been the subject of negotiations.
We will then use that feedback to formally report back to meetings of members in the following two weeks and seek your direction on how you wish to proceed.
It is fast coming to a time where members will need to consider what action they may need to take if we are to pursue the claims further.
