As advised last week, the ANMF (SA Branch) has commenced formal consultation with members about your employer’s claim to reduce the duration of the night shift from 10 to 9.5 hours. As you would know from earlier information, ANMF (SA Branch) officers have advised SA Health and State Government representatives that we are, as a matter of immediate response, opposed to this proposed change.
However, it is critical that we provide an opportunity to members to have your say on this important issue.
ANMF (SA Branch) Professional Liaison Officers will be working with members over the coming two weeks to ensure that you have an opportunity to provide feedback and voice any concerns with the proposal.
As part of this consultation process, we have established an online survey to enable members to have their say.
Your feedback will be presented to State Government/SA Health representatives at the next enterprise bargaining negotiation meeting on 6 August 2019.
