The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (SA Branch) is currently in dispute with Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) over what is believed to be a breach of staffing as prescribed by the Nursing and Midwifery Enterprise Agreement.
Staff in the Lyell McEwin Hospital’s Dialysis Unit are reporting concerns with regard to patient care as a result of the hospital management’s refusal to staff the unit in accordance with the NMEA.
The dispute is currently before the SA Employment Tribunal. Affected members will be kept updated as this matter progresses.
