When members at Flinders Medical Centre Medical Imaging (part of South Australian Medical Imaging (SAMI)) noticed they were not being paid their professional development allowance, the ANMF (SA Branch) stepped in to help.
We have since been advised that affected members have received the allowance as backpay, which equated to more than $1,000 for at least one individual.
