Today, we proudly remember the thousands of courageous Australians who fought for the many freedoms we enjoy today. To those who lost their lives, and to the many more who suffered as a result of war and armed conflict, we honour you.
It would be remiss of us also not to acknowledge the nurses who cared for our brave soldiers, both in battle and upon their return home, like those at the Glenelg Anzac Hostel (pictured above circa 1919).
