Course Overview

The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Education Centre (ANMEC) has won a contract with the Department of Innovation and Skills (DIS) to provide ‘COVID Clean’ training for up to 5,500 employees across the state.

The State Government-funded infection control course aims to educate workers in COVID-19 prevention and preparedness across a broad spectrum of vocations including hospitality, retail, tourism, transport, logistics, security and cleaning services.

South Australia has been a world leader in crushing the COVID curve and this new training program will help the state avoid community transmission in the future. It is more important than ever that complacency does not undo the great work done so far.

ANMEC, a service of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (SA Branch), was officially recognised by the State Government in 2019 as SA’s Training Provider of the Year and is a renowned industry leader in health-focused training solutions.

All of our educators are experienced Registered Nurses who have the expertise to teach in this area.
