The theme, ‘A Force for Change', reflects the importance of nurses,
midwives, aged care and personal care workers in ensuring that we have a
strong and resilient health care system.
The conference will provide delegates with an opportunity to share
knowledge and experiences through a variety of invited speakers and
presentations.
Registrants will be eligible for 14 CPD points for attending the conference.
NEW! Discussion Papers
Participation in the Professional Conference gains you 9.5 CPD points but by reading and reflecting on the below discussion papers you can earn another 4.5 CPD points.
These discussion papers were written by the Rosemary Bryant AO Research Centre researchers and cover some of the contemporary issues in Nursing at the moment. You can access the papers below and also the ANMFSA Professional Portfolio reflection to complete and use as evidence.
If you are watching the conference live on 22 and 23 September, the papers' authors will be holding a discussion session following Professor Marion Eckert's presentation. You will be able to raise a question and discuss with Professor Marion Eckert, so we encourage you to read the papers prior to these sessions to gain the most from your participation.
Important update: New conference dates - 22 and 23 September 2021
The ANMF (SA Branch) Annual Professional Conference will now be held online from 9am to 5pm, September 22 and 23.
Given the current uncertain situation across the country with COVID-19, we have been compelled in the circumstances to deliver our 2021 Annual Professional Conference as a digital-only event.
We take the safety of our members and community seriously and as such we felt the only responsible decision was to avoid any mass gatherings.
The conference has been delayed to September due to the recent lockdown preventing the necessary planning and preparations required to provide you with a quality experience.
The ‘digital’ conference will be able to be viewed live as it happens or at your leisure over a 6-month period.
