Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature

ANMF SA members and ANMEC students can access an extensive database of nursing and allied health resources as part of their membership benefits.

CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature) provides international coverage across nursing, health sciences, consumer health and allied health.

The database includes over 1800 active full text journals as well as standards of practice, book chapters, dissertations, conference proceedings and evidence-based care sheets.

It also includes legal cases, drug information and clinical trials. Use CINAHL to access high quality, peer reviewed articles that support your continuing professional development.

To get started, sign in to the Library with your member or student number and access CINAHL via the ‘Quick Links’ section of the website.

The CINAHL database is hosted on the EBSCO platform. Create a free MyEBSCO account to set up journal alerts and follow the latest research in your practice area.
